Typically, early on in the purchase process, an astute aircraft buyer will seek out professional advice to be sure he/she understands if there will be tax assessed on the purchase, and if so, how that tax can be minimized or avoided.

Students at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, in partnership with Powering Imagination LLC, are working to make that dream a reality with an electric flight program that aims to reduce aircraft emissions and noise.

The 2016 legislative session starts in January, two months earlier than the usual start of the legislative March madness.

FABA is attempting to do something big—something much greater than it has ever done before. With a successful track record in Tallahassee that includes over $25 million dollars in aviation maintenance and other tax exemptions benefiting general aviation since 2010, that is saying a lot.

The 69th Annual FABA Annual Conference and Trade Show took place at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek on June 8th and 9th, 2015.

Although I am not a pilot (gasp!), I have spent my entire life and career surrounded by aviators and aircraft. Perhaps I am not able to speak in the technical terms of a highly trained and skilled pilot, but I have learned a thing or two about flying through osmosis.

Now that Past President, Deric Dymerski has turned over the controls and moved into the back seat, it’s time to get on to planning the next leg of the FABA journey.
